Under-cabinet lighting puts even task light directly on the counter with concealed wiring and separate control from the room lights.
What decides it
Continuous channels reduce the bright dots and dark gaps common to short fixtures. Driver location, wire exits and the light rail are planned so the illumination is visible but the hardware is not.
Why this is worth doing properly
Good lighting reaches the counters instead of the back of your head, and good power planning gives modern appliances the circuits they require. A licensed electrical contractor performs the electrical work on our schedule.
