Get the layout right first
Can two people pass behind an open dishwasher? Does the refrigerator door clear the wall? Is the sink close enough to the range? We settle those questions on paper before a cabinet is ordered. Finishes can change. A bad layout follows you every day.
Choose appliances before cabinets
Every appliance has a cut sheet with exact openings and clearances. Read it after the cabinet order and you may live with a two-inch gap beside the range. Read it first and the kitchen fits.
Template stone on set cabinets
A countertop cut to a drawing fits a drawing, not necessarily the room. We template only after the cabinets are set, walk the slab layout, keep seams away from heavy-use areas and confirm every cutout against the fixture going into it.
No surprises get covered up
If a wall carries load, the joists block the island drain or old wiring appears behind the plaster, you see photographs and receive a written price before anything is closed.
